Brief introduction of Gear coupling

1.  Compared with other high torque coupling, the gear coupling has the properties of compact structure, light weight, long service life, and the loss of the transmitted torque could be reduced furthest, and it almost has no noise and vibration during its’ high speed rotation.

2.  The curved tooth of gear coupling could adjust and eliminate the axis deviation, so as to ensure a normal transmission. At the same time, the internal lubrication system could strengthen the teeth abrasion resistance performance.

3.  Both two sides of the sleeve are equipped with concave convex which is for the purpose of easy installation and dis-assembly.

4.  The material is St 52.3, so the durability under heavy loading condition is increased. Special steel is also available in accordance with clients'request.


Structure of gear coupling:

1. The hub tooth of gear coupling is curved tooth. so the interference caused by the incline of the hub and sleeve during operation could be automatically eliminated. Even eccentricity, angle of declination or axial deviation appear, the torque could also be normally transmitted.

2. If the gear coupling installed without any shifting, internal and external teeth meet at the center point of the crowned teeth near by the external teeth. But if there is an deviation during the gear coupling installation, internal and external teeth would meet at a distance outside of the center point

3.1 Radial deflection: the drive shaft and driven shaft are paralleled but the center is not consistent.

3.2 Angle deflection: the drive shaft and driven shaft are in the same plane. But distribute an angle part of surface

3.3 Syntagmatic deflection: the radial shifting and axial shifting happen simultaneously

3.4 Axial deflection: the drive shaft and driven shaft are in same lane but there is a axial deflection.
